WHY
A photoshoot is so much more than 'just' a set of photos. It's an opportunity to see yourself from a fresh perspective and to show the world who you really are. Through these shoots, I aim to give trans folks a set of photos that they can feel good about and that truly represent their personality and gender identity.
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I knew I wanted to do something with my business to benefit the community as a whole. Many of my dearest friends are transgender, and the idea for this program was developed while photographing and working with my friend Trey last year. We were reflecting on a previous shoot we had done together very early in his transition and he mentioned how the process of curating the outfits for his shoot (as well as receiving the completed gallery) was a very affirming event and helped him to feel more comfortable in his identity. Together we came up with the idea to gift a shoot to a member of the trans community for any other paid session booked with me.
HOW IT WORKS
Each time a paid session (any type) is purchased,
a new slot will be opened for a gender affirming shoot.
